Fellowship creates relationships

Philippians 1:3-8

3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

Fellowship creates relationships. The most important part of building a relationship with someone is to spend time in fellowship. In the body of Christ everyone is in a rush after service to leave. We don’t even know those we labor among. When we learn how to fellowship relationships within the body of Christ will improve. The bible says, they will know us because of our love for one another. The only way to develop genuine love for your brother or sister is to spend time in fellowship. Jesus always fellowshipped with His disciples. When we fellowship, then we will know what to pray for concerning our brothers and sisters. Paul was still in fellowship with the Philippians even when he wasn’t present physically. He wrote the above letter expressing his joy and his commitment toward fellowship.
